Eilon 
Levi

Eilon was born in Israel. He started playing the piano at the age of 6. He is a graduate of the local Conservatory in Petah-Tikva and got his classical training there in 2015. Upon enlisting in the army, he was exposed to jazz for the first time and began to delve into the genre. After his military service, he began studying at the Rimon School of Music in Ramat-Hasharon. Two years later, he auditioned for studies at Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and received a high scholarship. He moved to the U.S and finished his studies in 2023 - Bachelor of Music with double major in “Piano Performance” and “Contemporary Writing and Production”.

In his studies at Berklee, at the same time as he focused on improving his playing and improvisational skills (under mentors such as Alain Mallet and Christian Li), he focused on his writing, arranging and producing skills for different ensemble settings (under mentors such as Danny McIntyre and Joe Carrier.). In addition, he also specialized in writing and producing for screen and media.

 

The time at Berklee and the collaborations with musicians from all over the world had a great influence on the wide and varied writing style in different genres – Modern and traditional Jazz, Gospel, RnB, World, EDM, and more.
